FOR THE LEEWARD ISLANDS AND BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
ISSUED BY ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA METEOROLOGICAL SERVICES

03:52 UTC MARCH 20 2019

DISCUSSION:  A STABLE AIR MASS ANCHORED ACROSS THE AREA RESTRICTED CLOUD AND PRECIPITATION DEVELOPMENT ACROSS THE AREA DURING THE EVENING PERIOD. SATELLITE AND RADAR IMAGERY SHOWED PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND WEAK ECHOES MOVING OVER COASTAL AREA. A GENERAL SUBSIDENCE PATTERN WILL LIKELY KEEP SHOWER ACTIVITY TO A MINIMUM TONIGHT, THUS FAIR AND COOL CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL.

LATEST MODEL GUIDANCE HAS SHOWN STABLE CONDITIONS REMAINING IN THE AREA TOMORROW AND ANY SHOWER ACTIVITY WILL LIKELY BE DEPENDENT ON AVAILABLE MOISTURE. RADAR IMAGERY, CURRENT OBSERVATIONS AND LATEST MODEL PROJECTIONS ARE IN GENERAL AGREEMENT WITH THE LATEST ISSUED FORECAST.
