| The Eastern Caribbean Forecast valid up to 8pm Wednesday 14th May 2008. Wx: A ridge of high pressure will continue to control the weather pattern across the Eastern Caribbean for the
next few days. The high will also maintain a light to moderate wind flow across the region for the
next few days. This coupled with a dry and stable upper level air mass over area will continue to maintain
mainly fair weather conditions across the islands for the next few days. Rainfall activities if any will be light.
Few cloudy spells will also develop over the Windward islands but these clouds will be mainly high level
cloudy and these clouds will not produce any rainfall .Only few light scattered showers can be anticipated
across the islands for tonight and tomorrow. Few scattered showers could develop
over Trinidad and Tobago overnight into tomorrow due to a weak wave in the
area.
Meanwhile, the tail end of a frontal trough will trigger few shower activities over Hispaniola tonight
and tomorrow. Winds: SE 6 kts Becoming Lighter and Variable over Hispaniola and Puerto Rico and E - ESE 10 -18 kts over the rest of the islands.. Seas: Slight to moderate waves 1.5 to 1.8 m or 5 to 6 ft. Barometric Pressure: Above normal. | ![]() |
