The Eastern Caribbean Forecast valid up to 8am Thursday 11th March 2010.

Wx: Satellite pictures are still showing a persistent trough over the northeast Caribbean. The instability that it is generating will produce cloudy to overcast skies with occasional showers over the leeward Islands westward to Puerto Rico and Hispaniola. Most of the showers will be light. As we look at the islands to the south, skies will be mainly sunny today and fair tonight, with hardly any showers.

Winds: Northeast and east northeast 10 - 14 kts over the Leewards westward to Hispaniola; East and East southeast 12 - 16 kts over the southern islands.

Seas: Slight to moderate; swells 4 - 5 ft or near 1.5 M.

Barometric Pressure: Near normal.
